COMELEC will be open on Sundays once voter registration period starts in May
Wow, looks like they really want more people to vote in 2016.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer reports that "the local offices of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will be open even on Sundays to accommodate voters who will register for the 2016 polls." The voters' registration period will run from May 6, 2014, to October 31, 2015.
According to the COMELEC, this includes new registrations, transfers, reactivation, and validation.
