Delon Porcalla of The Philippine Star reports that President Benigno Aquino III has blamed his predecessor, former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, for causing his thinning hair to vanish due to the problems he said he inherited from her administration.
Â
The report noted that in a recent dialogue with overseas Filipino workers in Malaysia, Aquino veered away from the prepared speech he had and joked that he had more hair before he assumed the presidency in 2010 than he has now. Turning serious afterwards, the President then "recited the litany of sins that Arroyo had committed, starting off with what he described as a 'lost decade.'
Â
The enormous shortage in classrooms and the P177 billion debt by the National Food Authority were just some of the challenges Aquino said his administration had to deal with immediately after his election.
