Robinson won’t like this: Shake, Rattle & Roll 15 features story inspired by mall urban legend-with a major detail changed

Actually, it could be called "a snaky sex change."

Robinson is the snake man! (It’s not true, OK?)

Everyone knows that there’s an urban legend about a snake man at Robinsons Galleria. The said creature, who is named Robinson, is supposedly the twin of Robina Gokongwei, daughter of businessman John Gokongwei. For a while, it was rumored that Robinson would prey on women in the department store’s fitting rooms. It is no longer clear if he wanted to devour them or just hang out with them.

For the record, the supposed twin of the snake has joked that her mythical serpentine sibling has been turned into a belt.

But it seems Robinson still has a hold on the folks over at Regal Films.

Shake, Rattle & Roll 15, one of the entries in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, features a story inspired by the saga of Robina and Robinson.

However, instead of a snake man, they’ve chosen to go with a snake woman. Erich Gonzales will play a woman with a snake sister. At least, that’s what entertainment insider Mario Dumaual said in his report.

Sssssorry, Robinson.
