Senator Bongbong Marcos ordered to return P10M pork allotted to bogus NGO
Will he comply?
In a report published by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Commission on Audit (COA) has issued a notice of disallowance to Senator Bongbong Marcos, ordering him to return P10 million he allocated from his pork barrel to Benhur Luy’s bogus NGO, Social Development Program for Farmers Foundation, Inc. or SDPFFI.
According to the records found on the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) website, Marcos earmarked millions for the NGO to fund an "organic farming for high value crops" project in Nakar, Quezon Province.
Senator Marcos has denied involvement in the scam in earlier reports.
