Senior Superintendent Wilben Mayor, spokesperson for the Philippine National Police, gave a stern reminder to traffic enforcers that names on business cards flashed by violators should be ignored. This comes a day after a post by a model seemingly bragging about getting special privileges went viral.
Â
According to a report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer on Tuesday (September 30), Mayor said that it is the law enforcer’s discretion if s/he would be fazed by the card, saying, "[T]o avoid abuse, law enforcers on the ground ‎shouldn't recognize anything. Especially those calling cards. Kapag nagpakita ng calling cards, hulihin niyo lalo!"
Â
"Kahit ano'ng violation, hulihin. It doesn't matter. ‎All law enforcers should apprehend," he added.
