PNP Chief Alan Purisima also allegedly owns land in Batangas
According to his representatives, he denies these charges
What’s up with Batangas? An exclusive report by Anthony Taberna revealed that PNP Chief Alan Purisima owns a 10-hectare property that he did not declare in his Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN). The deeds of sale show that the land is worth P2 million.
The records show that Purisima sold the property in 2010, but investigators point out that regardless of who currently owns it, the asset was still omitted in his financial reports.
According to a report by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Purisima denies these allegations and vows to find out whose behind this "scheme." The PNP Chief is currently facing corruption charges due to certain unexplained wealth.
