Sneak Peek: Sky Tower at Solaire Resort and Casino, Parañaque
Gold in the ceiling, rooms with a view, and BenCab art
(SPOT.ph) The resort part is getting a boost as Solaire Resort and Casino opens a new wing-a 258,721 square meter expansion, featuring a 17-story tower that offers more places to dine, 312 luxurious suites with a great view of the bay, and even more chandeliers. The Sky Tower, which opens today, November 22, distinguishes itself from the rest of Solaire with light-sunshine bathes the atrium. At the heart of the tower is The Theatre...but let’s save that for another day.
Take a quick tour, in photos, of the newest staycation spot in the city.
Waterside Restorbar, one of the two new food spots in Solaire, welcomes you to the Sky Tower with Latin American and Mediterranean delicacies.
Don’t forget to look up: The ceiling is positively golden.
The earthy tones complement the gold highlights of the restaurant
Oasis Garden Café wants to live up to its name.
From rows of machines to a garden where you can relax and have some tea and sweets
Don’t forget to check out the art. This one is by no less than National Artist of the Philippine Visual Arts, Benedicto Cabrera.
All the rooms are suites, with huge windows that give the already spacious quarters an even more breezy feel
Check out the view of the bay (and the very tropical pool) from the dining area
The only kind of golden shower most of us want to have. When they said sophisticated, they really meant opulent.
On the left, a cigar lounge for channeling Vito Corleone. On the right, more seating area for when you’re overwhelmed by the size of this new wing. (It’s not small at all.)
The Sky Tower is filled with artwork, but there’s this very special hall where numerous variations of the Leonardo da Vinci’s La Gioconda (Mona Lisa) are displayed.
We also spotted this familiar face.
