The University of the Philippines is now accepting applications for college admissions for incoming freshmen for academic year 2023-2024.
Aspiring iskos and iskas can submit their UPCA application online until Oct. 15 for academic year 2023-2024. Helpdesk for applications will be available starting Sept. 19, Mondays to Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The state university suspended the admissions test in 2020 and 2021 to prevent a further spike in cases during the height of the pandemic. The 2022 test is likewise suspended.
In the absence of a test, UP will screen freshman applicants based on their high school performance through a virtual application process.
Here's how to apply for the UPCA online:
Applicants must register online and log in to their accounts after registration.
Students are strongly encouraged to review their registration details especially names, birthdays, and official contact channels as once submitted, all information is considered official and final.
The following forms are to be filled out electronically and submitted online except for certain regional areas.
- Form 1 - Personal Data Sheet
- Form 2 - High School Record
Additional forms must be filled out and submitted by high school administration representatives to supplement data submitted by students.
Prior to the suspension, high school students had to submit requirements and take the test in UP campuses and 95 testing centers nationwide.
