Typhoon Inday (Muifa) will continue to stir monsoon rains over parts of Luzon on Sunday as it hovers between the Philippines' northern tip and southern Taiwan, PAGASA said.
The ninth storm of the year was spotted 350 kilometers east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes at 4 a.m. It packs maximum sustained winds of 155 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 190 kph, moving northwest at 15 kph, PAGASA said.

The storm's outermost rainbands and the Southwest Monsoon that it enhances might bring rainshowers and thunderstorms over Batanes and the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon, PAGASA said.
No storm warning signal has been raised at this time.
Inday is expected to move generally northwestward over the Philippine Sea east of Taiwan from Sunday through Monday afternoon, before exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Tuesday morning or afternoon.
