Typhoon Inday (Muifa) left the Philippines on Tuesday, PAGASA said, as it monitored another storm that could enter the country later in the week.

The tropical depression will be named Josie once inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility from the Pacific Ocean by Thursday or Friday. Inday was located off Batanes at 4 a.m. on its way to China, the weather bureau said.

Josie will be the 10th storm to enter PAR in 2022 and the second in September alone.
