Senator Panfilo Lacson, who is running for president in May, said Friday said he tested positive for the coronavirus and asked his close contacts to take extra precautions.
Lacson, who tapped Senate President Tito Sotto as his running mate, said he received his COVID diagnosis last Jan. 6. None of contacts have symptoms, he said.
Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian also said Friday he tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. "I enjoin everyone to get your booster shots right away," he said.
