Eraserheads Members Post Cryptic Photo, Exciting Fans

At least three of the four members of the Eraserheads posted similar uncaptioned photos on Saturday, exciting fans who have long craved for a reunion of one of Filipino rock's most influential bands.

Ely Buendia, Raymund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala posted a bright yellow "E" written backwards, against a brown backdrop. The post even got the attention of Chito Miranda, frontman of E-heads rival Parokya ni Edgar.

The Eraserheads disbanded in 2002 after prodiving the soundtrack to the high school and college years of late Gen X and elder millennials but their appeal has crossed over to younger generations.

During the pandemic lockdowns, Ely Buendia went viral for his thoughts on friendship outside the band and the not-so-profound meaning of fan favorite track "Spoliarium".
