Presidential candidate Isko Moreno on Thursday said rivals Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo would not get his vote as both are after the highest seat in the land for the sake of political revenge.
"Maghihiganti sa mga Marcos at Duterte," Moreno said when celebrity talk show host Boy Abunda in an interview asked him why he wouldn't vote for Robredo.Â
The Manila City Mayor earlier said the world need not revolve around the decades-long feud between the Aquino and Marcos families and their heirs. Robredo said that while the Marcoses were a factor to consider, she was running for president to put an end to the brand of leadership reigning in the country under the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
When asked about Marcos, the only son and namesake of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Moreno said he would seek revenge as well: "Maghihiganti sa mga dilawan at pinklawan."
Dilawan refers to the Liberal Party members and supporters backing Robredo. The vice president, who has long been identified with the yellow of the Aquino family, took on a fiery shade of pink as her campaign color for the May 9 elections.

When asked why Filipinos should vote for him, Moreno said "hindi ako maghihiganti kaninoman. Wala akong paghihigantihan."
When asked about fellow presidential candidate Panfilo Lacson, Moreno said "pwede naman iboto." As for Sen. Manny Pacquiaio, he said "mabait naman siya eh, okay naman."
