Bohol Drops COVID Vaccine Card Requirement for Travelers

Travelers planning to visit Bohol no longer have to present their COVID-19 vaccine cards to enter the island province, its governor said Thursday, veering away from a long-standing pandemic requirement.

Gov. Aris Aumentado issued an executive order removing the need to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination for individuals without symptoms of the disease.

Individuals with symptoms of COVID-19 however will be required to present proof of vaccination but will still be allowed entry into Bohol based on Aumentado's order.

The development comes just after the national government made wearing face masks optional in open spaces.
