Watch Renowned Physicist Stephen Hawking Sing "Galaxy Song"
Easily the best thing on the Internet right now
(SPOT.ph) There is absolutely nothing Stephen Hawking can't do—he defied the odds of his disease, he contributed tremendously to our knowledge of the known universe, helped Eddie Redmayne win an Academy Award, and, now, he's also a recording artist.
His rendition of "Galaxy Song" dropped on April 13 for Record Store Day 2015 and although we would like to get our hands on the limited edition 7" vinyl, we're quite content with the official music video:
"Galaxy Song" was originally part of the 1983 film Monty Python's The Meaning of Life and was consequently included in the 1989 album Monty Python Sings. It's a cheerful little ditty that encourages people to look at things in perspective. Because we're very, very, very tiny:
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely is your birth!
Chin up and let Dr. Hawking's soothing voice help you get through the day!
