Some dude is bragging about cheating a Jollibee delivery guy
He's hoping his behavior gets him on Ellen
(SPOT.ph) What's the opposite of a role model? This dude, Jay Bee, seems to be it. While the rest of us were enjoying our weekend without deliberately doing any others any harm, Jay Bee ordered spaghetti, fries, a chocolate sundae, and Champ burger. All fine and dandy, but then pretended to not hear the call from the receptionist when the delivery guy arrived with his food, causing the order to be "late."
Not content with paying a measly P66 for everything he ordered, Jay Bee posted what happened on Facebook:
A few friends explained that the delivery guy's pay would be docked because of this stunt, but Jay Bee was wapakels. On July 5, a letter to Jollibee by writer James Deakin went viral, with the motoring enthusiast calling out Jay Bee for being an "attention whore."
In response, Jay Bee "thanked" his "haters" for making him "famous" (quote from Inquirer.net):
Sa lahat ng fans ko all over the world, salamat ng ma[r]ami sa biglang pagsikat ko[. H]oping na makarating to kay [E]llen [D]egeneres para naman makapag-guest ako sa show n[i]ya[. M]ga sikat ang invited n[i]ya eh[. S]a lahat ng bashers ko d[i]yan, natural lang sa isang sikat na magkaroon ng bashers, pero thankful pa rin ako at lalo n[i]yo ako pinapasikat.
Perhaps we can all collectively agree not to be this guy. He may not learn his lesson, but we still have a chance to avoid doing anything that he would in the future, because he seems generally disagreeable.
