Stray dogs no longer allowed to wander Albay church grounds
Thanks to some poop problems.
(SPOT.ph) The vicar of the Nuestra Señora de la Porteria or the Lady of the Gate Parish Church in Daraga, Albay has spoken: The dogs have to go. Father Ricky Bermas has decided that it is in the church's best interest to capture and impound stray dogs wandering its grounds. The reason? Crap.
The Inquirer.net reports that the Daraga church is one of the most visited in the country and according to Father Bermas, the foul smell from the manure has been distracting to both tourists and parishioners. The priest added that the captured dogs would be kept and fed in an improvised impounding area.
