5 Stylish Condo Looks for Some Interiors Inspiration
...according to PSID Studio 24
(SPOT.ph) More and more millenials are choosing to live in condominiums. They are even willing to compromise space and the comfort of living at home for the convenience of living in accessible locations.
The 2015 graduates of the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) were challenged by this idea. With 24 different client archetypes, they made 24 bare 24-square meter units visually challenging and entertaining. PSID Studio 24 at the Ronac Lifestyle Center in Makati is their culminating exhibit that shows brilliant ways of maximizing small spaces without sacrificing space, style, and function.

The Comic Geek
The Veronica mural by Alfred Galvez is already enough to draw us in, what more the custom-made Campbell’s table, paint bucket lights, red telephone booth bathroom, and comic book bed light?
The College Buddies
Who would’ve thought two dudes could live together in a 24-square meter space? Our favorites: the asymmetrical couch, vibrant ceiling, workspaces underneath the beds, and the chairs that are not only eye-catching, but also very functional.
The Romantic Writer
This quaint space modernizes Victorian style by using lighter colors of carmine, giving it a fresh take with geometrical lines. Add the warm light for a romantic atmosphere.
The Young Urban Professional
This space is filled with everything vintage-inspired: the Eames chair and ottoman for the living room, the modern Danish chairs in the dining area that double as a workspace, to the car paintings. The wood blends well with the orange and pine colors to create a warm and laidback feel.
This nest makes brilliant use of Philippine indigenous materials like cow bones, shredded bamboo, and patterns resembling the Banaue Rice Terraces (ceiling and platform). The couch is actually a pullout bed and the painting is a work by Sarah Gaugler, the inspiration of this archetype.
Studio 24 is open to everyone for free from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays to Sundays until October 31 at Ronac Lifestyle Center, Paseo de Magallanes, Makati City. For more information, visit PSID Studio 24’s website.
