PHOTOS: Scenes From Batman Day 2015
Comic book fans celebrated the Caped Crusader's 76th anniversary.
(SPOT.ph) We followed the Bat Signal to Fully Booked at Bonifacio High Street on September 26 for worldwide Batman Day! To celebrate Batman's 76th anniversary, a limited edition Batman: Endgame Special Edition #1, by writers Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV, and artist Tony S. Daniel, was given away.
Comic Odyssey held a Batman Day Sale with comic books and merchandise at up to 50% off. And there were Filipino artists on hand for sketches and commissions.
The highlight of the day was special guest David Mack, creator of Kabuki and writer of Daredevil. Host Jaime Daez asked David questions about his career which he readily answered and at length. Later, the floor was opened to questions from the audience, while David demonstrated his ink painting technique. The paintings were then raffled off to fans. The event closed with David signing books and prints for his many fans.
