The Forbes Global CEO Conference 2015 Comes to Manila
The Philippines was chosen to host the conference for the first time.
(SPOT.ph) The 15th annual Forbes Global CEO Conference organized by Forbes Media LCC was held for the first time in the Philippines, from October 12 to 14 at Solaire Resort and Casino. Forbes has made it an ongoing practice to gather CEOs and have discussions on the economy, investment strategies, and more. This year’s theme, “Toward a Winning Vision,” was focused on visionary leadership or how companies can shape their business goals based on their core values to deliver maximum results. The three-day event featured talks from over 50 speakers around the globe.
“We are delighted to bring the Forbes Global CEO Conference to the Philippines, one of the world’s most promising emerging markets. Manila is a fitting location to host our conference delegates, who are among the world’s most economically powerful business people,” Forbes Media CEO for Asia William Adamopoulos said.

The conference condluded with "A Meeting of Minds," a conversation between Pres. Benigno Aquino III and Steve Forbes, chair and editor-in-chief of Forbes Magazine. “I think people who hadn’t been here for a while are very surprised at the dynamism of the economy and we were discussing beforehand that when we get back, our party, to the United States, some of us are going to get a constitutional amendment so that President Aquino, when he leaves office next year, can come to the U.S. and give us some of the six-percent growth rate,” Forbes said.
