The city's most interesting sound bites
(SPOT.ph) Manny Pacquiao has had an eventful week, to say the least. After making his controversial remarks on LGBTs, he lost Twitter followers, an endorsement deal, and the support of local (and some foreign) personalities.
It was also the week that had us talking about expensive shoes, the Grammys, and the ending to On the Wings of Love. What a long week that was!
"Should you be a senator or should you just be a pastor?" — Karen Davila asking Manny Pacquiao about his controversial statement on LGBTs.
Which one are you, Manny?
“Kung lalaki sa lalaki o babae sa babae eh mas masahol pa sa hayop ang tao.” — Manny Pacquiao on same-sex marriage and relationships.
“Ang kailangan ng bansang ito ay mga taong nag-iisip. Utang na loob, kilalanin ninyo ang iboboto ninyo.” — Aiza Seguerra on Manny Pacquiao.
A very important reminder for May 2016.
“Kung ang ibig sabihin po ng hayop ay gumagalang, nagmamahal, then I am an animal." — Boy Abunda on Manny Pacquiao’s controversial statement.
Spread love, not hate!

We've heard that before.
“I apologize if anyone was offended by my shoes, it was never my intention to upset anyone.” — Sen. Grace Poe’s son Brian Poe Llamanzares on his Nike limited-edition sneakers, whether authentic or not.
The shoes had no comment.
“Parang naging mas buo ang pagkatao ko. Iba talaga kapag nanay ka.” — Marian Rivera-Dantes on being a mother.
Not that you’re any less of a woman if you don’t have kids, we'd like to add.
“Honestly, I’m a fan of tragedy. The tragic ending makes you want to watch the beginning again, which makes you appreciate the love story at the middle.” — James Reid on how he wants On The Wings Of Love to end.
Nothing like Romeo and Juliet, we hope.
“Na-in love ako sa kanila, sa story nila Clark at Leah. Gusto ko rin na mag-end up sila together.” — Nadine Lustre on how she wants On The Wings Of Love to end.
There goes the happy ending!
“There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments...but if you just focus on the work...you’ll know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.” — Taylor Swift accepting her Grammy Award.
Take that, Kanye.
