Want a free jeepney ride with WiFi?
You can now get GrabJeeps along EDSA.
(SPOT.ph) If you happen to see a GrabJeep making a stop while you’re waiting for a regular jeepney, hop in—not only is your ride free, the GrabJeep is air-conditioned and comes equipped with TV and WiFi, too!
Passengers are not required to book through the ride-hailing Grab app. Once they spot a GrabJeep at a stop, they can just hop in for their free ride. And if they’re happy with their ride, they can choose to donate some cash for the upkeep and upgrade of old jeepneys.
From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., GrabJeeps can now be found along EDSA every day. While they have no specific stops, they can pick up and unload passengers in the following areas: Magallanes, Ayala, Buendia, Guadalupe, Boni, Shaw, Megamall, Ortigas, Santolan, Araneta, and SM North EDSA. The free rides will be available for two months.
