Grace Poe takes the lead in latest SWS poll
Binay gets left behind.
(SPOT.ph) In the March 4 to 7 presidential survey done by the Social Weather Stations , Sen. Grace Poe is in the lead with an additional three points, giving her 27 percentage points, Inquirer.net reports.
Vice President Jejomar Binay, who used to hold the top spot, lags behind with a loss of five points. At 24 percent, he comes in second to Poe. Former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, meanwhile, scored an additional four points, landing him at third place with 22 percent. Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has gone down to 21 percent, while Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago retains the fifth place with four percent.
The BusinessWorld-commissioned Social Weather Stations pre-election survey was conducted after the first presidential debate in Cagayan de Oro on February 21 and before March 8, when the Supreme Court gave Poe the go signal to run for president.
