Heads up: DPWH rolls out road-blocking schedule for the weekend

Avoid QC if you can!

(SPOT.ph) Straying anywhere near Quezon City this weekend? Be warned: It’s either find somewhere else to go, or be resourceful in looking for alternate routes. The Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region has announced that they will be conducting road repairs from 10 p.m. of March 18 to 5 a.m. of March 21. The repairs are mainly in Quezon City, so QC people (or anyone intending to go near the area, for that matter) get ready!

Southbound routes will be affected, namely:

  • Along Commonwealth Avenue from Don Antonio Drive to after Zuzuaregui Street
  • Along C.P. Garcia Street from E. Roces Avenue to F. Florentino (third lane from the sidewalk)
  • Along EDSA from Mother Ignacia Street to Scout Borromeo Street (first lane from the sidewalk)
