Traveling to Cam Sur by bus? Check out this comfy ride
Two words: massage chairs
Â
(SPOT.ph) Land travel to the Bicol Region is often a pain in the butt, literally, because of the almost half day commute. Of course, there’s always an option to just book a flight and get there in less than an hour. But where’s the fun in that? (Also, buses are cheaper.) If you're planning a trip to Bicol anytime soon, there's a more comfortable option in the Skybus Premiere 700, the new bus line by Peñafrancia Tours (Bicol Isarog Transport System) and get this: They have La-Z-Boy seats with built-in massagers. Suddenly, that nine-hour ride isn’t as torturous as it sounds.

Launched on June 17, 2016, the 21-seater Skybus not only offers recliners and massage chairs but also features WiFi, an LCD TV, and on-board services. They also give away bottled water and biscuits to passengers. Compared to regular buses, the ticket price is a bit steep—P1,800 for the first four solo seats and P1,100 for seats on the third row to all the way to the back—but it’s worth the convenience. There’s also a comfort room inside the bus so you don’t have to worry about holding in your pee, plus that means pit stops are subtracted from your total travel time.

Skybus travels from Araneta Center Bus Terminal in Quezon City to Naga City in Camarines Sur and vice versa daily at 8 p.m. Payment can be done over the counter through their booking office near Shopwise-Cubao and in front of SSS-Cubao in Quezon City and in front of CBD Plaza Hotel in Naga City. For more information, visit the Bicol Isarog website.
