World champion Paeng Nepomuceno to teach bowling class in UP
Have you enlisted?
(SPOT.ph) The University of the Philippines' Diliman campus has long been known to offer interesting Physical Education classes as part of the General Education curriculum for undergraduate courses. Iskos and Iskas can sign up for bird watching, skin diving, fencing, and even Scrabble.
The second semester of school year 2016 to 2017, though, will be one for the books. Six-time world bowling champion Paeng Nepomuceno himself will be teaching ten-pin bowling classes at the Celebrity Sports Plaza in Quezon City in three two-hour slots every Monday.
Nepomuceno also holds three titles from the Guinness Book of World Records: for being the youngest World Bowling Champion at 19 years old, for winning the most world titles in three different decades, and for winning the most worldwide titles in a career. He's also the only bowling athlete in the world who has been bestowed the International Olympic Committee Presidents' Trophy. Who wouldn't want to have an award-winning professor?
Now we kind of wish we were still in college.
