(SPOT.ph) In 2009, the founders of local real estate firm KMC Savills, Inc. rented an office area as they were starting out. They ended up with some unused space and had the bright idea of leasing it to other companies. Fast-forward to eight years later and this concept has developed into KMC Solutions—a comprehensive outsourcing and offshoring provider found in 22 sites all over the Philippines.
KMC Solutions is a flexible serviced office and coworking space with work areas that could fit a team of five to 120 employees. “Our goal as a company is to provide spaces and services that help any kind of business no matter the stage they are in,” says Riccardo Corsini, Vice President for Marketing of KMC Solutions. “Whether clients expand or scale down, we make sure that our facilities can take [the] challenge.”
Named after various American states, the private serviced workplaces distributed throughout the floor’s 2,500 square meters come with secured biometric access, carpeted floors, high-speed Internet, and topnotch equipment. The spacious meeting rooms have a more playful vibe to them, featuring modern artwork and colorful wall installations that double as acoustic buffers.
With the help of Javier Project Managers Inc. for the interiors and furniture from Design International Inc., vibrant hues and nature-inspired elements were carefully woven into the theme of the common areas—instantly injecting happy and peaceful vibes into the work atmosphere. KMC Solutions listened to their clients’ feedback and seamlessly incorporated areas and amenities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Corsini adds, “In our new office, we placed several breakout areas across the floor where people can take a breather and relax from work. [An example is the] huddle area to help make meetings more casual and creative.”
The training room also functions as a yoga or dance studio.
The multi-function studio can be used for early-morning training sessions or conferences with the entire company, then transformed into a fully equipped fitness studio for yoga or dance classes after work hours. (KMC Solutions currently offers free evening yoga classes for its tenants.) There is ample space for foldable tables and chairs to be quickly moved to the side for physical activities, or to divide the wide area to facilitate two smaller gatherings.
Filled with black, white, and green modern fittings, the pantry can comfortably accommodate 60 people at any time of the day and be rented by clients for private functions. Large open windows and warm lights cast a homey glow over the area, complementing the light wooden walls with small pockets of potted plants.
Within the pantry, a dark blue-painted section with 8-bit ghosts beckons people to unleash their competitive side. This entertainment area comes with a flat-screen TV and console with installed games readily available to employees. Nearby, a two-tiered platform area can be the venue for instant collaborations, brainstorming sessions, and casual presentations. These areas were created to give employees the chance to bond with co-workers in a more relaxed setting.

When work stretches out until the wee hours of the morning, the experience doesn’t need to be horrendous with shower areas and cozy sleeping bunks all set for use.
To date, KMC Solutions has assisted over 50 companies in establishing their operations, not just international businesses but also residents in search of something tailor-made. Monthly privilege membership is granted to individuals at P1,000, giving them access to any of KMC Solutions’ work lounges and common areas around the Metro.
