Creatives, This Jam-Packed Conference Is for You
CREATE Philippines is happening this weekend.
(SPOT.ph) Freelance graphic designers, illustrators, or aspiring art directors, we know what you'll be doing this weekend: CREATE Philippines is happening, and it's a great way to learn more about the local creative industry and meet some of the best in the field. Now on its second year, the event features a series of masterclasses helmed by artists like Plus63 Design Co. founder Dan Matutina. It aims to equip Filipino creatives with the tools they need to succeed in the global stage. Organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (the export promotion arm of the Department of Trade and Industry) in partnership with the Communication Design Association of the Philippines, the conference will take place from September 22 to 23 at the Globe Tower, Bonifacio Global City.
This year, CREATE Philippines will be focusing on communication design, and will teach attendees how to get their ideas across clearly and effectively. Among those scheduled to speak during the two-day conference are Emmy-award winning creative consultant Chris Do, Team Manila founder Jowee Alviar, and Adobo Magazine founder and CEO Angel Guerrero.
Tickets for CREATE Philippines are priced at P6,500 for students, and P7,200 for professionals. You can book your tickets for the conference online.
