The parade will take place December 23, Sunday.
(SPOT.ph) Christmas isn't the only reason why Filipinos look forward to December 25: There's also the Metro Manila Film Festival to be excited about, No one can blame you if you can't wait to see what this year's film selection has in store for you (especially if you're up for movies that are not your usual), but in case it slipped your mind, the festival will have its annual Parade of Stars on December 23, which means that some roads in Parañaque will be closed to traffic.
The parade will start from 1 p.m. at Shopwise Sucat and will end at Bradco Avenue. According to the traffic advisory posted on the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Facebook page, the parade will pass along the following roads, which will be closed to motorists as early as 12 p.m.:
- Quirino Avanue from Kabihasnan to MIA Road
- Kabihasnan from Dr. A. Santos Avenue to Quirino Avenue
- Dr. A. Santos Avenue (westbound)
- MIA Road (westbound)
- Macapagal Boulevard (northbound)
The parade will kick off at Santa Grove but no announcements regarding what time it will end has been made. Last year, the parade ended at around 5 p.m.
