South Folks, Enjoy Toll-Free Driving For Christmas and New Year
A merry treat for motorists!
(SPOT.ph) If you’re celebrating the holidays in the south of the Metro, then you’ll be happy to know that no toll fees will be collected on the eve of Christmas and New year, December 24 to 25 and December 31 to January 1, 2019 for all southbound expressways.
From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. of the said dates, motorists can pass through the NAIA Expressway, South Luzon Expressway, Skyway, and the STAR Tollway for free.
This is not the first time that the Manila Toll Expressway Inc., Skyway O&M Corporation and STAR Tollway Corporation waived the collection of toll fees for the holidays. The companies have turned it into a yearly holiday treat for motorists.
The South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) is 36-kilometer roadway that runs from Alabang to Sto. Tomas, Batangas, with 13 access points connecting Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas. The Skyway consists of elevated roadways connecting points from Alabang and Bicutan to the Makati Central Business Distrct. The NAIA Expressway connects the Skyway system to all three NAIA airport terminals.
