"Duterte" Shares a Meal With "Kim Jong-un" in Hong Kong
That's what it looks like at first glance anyway!
(SPOT.ph) It's not often that you see President Rodrigo Duterte out and about. So when he was spotted hanging out in Hong Kong with none other than North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, everyone was surprised. It turns out, however, that the photos currently circulating on social media are actually of impersonators who call themselves Cresencio Extreme and Howard X.
The pair was spotted joining Sunday mass at St. Joseph's Church, which is popular with the Filipino community in Hong Kong, causing a stir as supporters went to take photos with them. They were also seen eating fried chicken from a famous fastfood restaurant, photos of which promptly went viral.
According to a report by the South China Morning Post, the two visited areas packed with Southeast Asian domestic workers. Howard X, Kim Jong-un's impersonator, is reportedly Cresencio Extreme's agent.
The Filipino-born Duterte lookalike flew into Hong Kong only just recently. "I used to be afraid of the fact that I looked like Duterte until the TV manager told me to just enjoy it because this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience," says Cresencio Extreme in the same report.
