Commuters, Expect Heavier Traffic in Ortigas for the Rest of the Month
There will be road restoration projects in the business district.
(SPOT.ph) At this point, it's no longer surprising to see congested roadways in Metro Manila's business districts, especially in Ortigas Center, which is located along the boundaries of Pasig, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City. But motorists in the area are advised to expect heavier traffic for the rest of the month: The Pasig Command Center released traffic advisories on February 18 announcing road restoration projects within the district.
This week, you might want to avoid passing through the intersection between Garnet and Topaz roads: Road work will be in full swing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day from February 19 to 22.
Similarly, the following week will also see the restoration of Sapphire Road and Jade Drive. Road work will be carried out every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., from February 26 to March 1.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until construction is finished.
