This Sanrio-Themed Tetris Game Is Too Cute for Words

(SPOT.ph) Before there were complex role-playing and adventure games, we were more than happy to spend countless hours playing games like Tetris. Piecing together the colorful blocks to clear horizontal lines was probably a huge part of your childhood. Now, you can relive the good ol' days as Tetris celebrates its 35th anniversary with a new version of the game featuring your favorite Sanrio characters. The browser-based game features the classic Tetris interface with Hello Kitty and friends cheering you on. 

It stays true to the original Tetris gameplay—just move the falling Tetrimino into position, rotate if needed, and drop it into place. You can use either the mouse or keyboard to control the blocks—you can even customize the keyboard controls in the Options menu! 

On April 17, Tetris and Sanrio announced a multi-year partnership on games and merchandise. We can't wait to see what's next.
