(SPOT.ph) Schedule your road trips accordingly as traveling north may soon be quite a hassle. NLEX Corporation has announced major repairs on the Bocaue River Bridge in Bulacan for around three months, from June 19 to September 7. The first stage will call for a month-long partial closure of the southbound lanes of the North Luzon Expressway.
According to their advisory on June 18, the initial phase of rehabilitation will be the closure of a 100-meter long portion of two southbound lanes from June 19 to July 12. This is for replacement and strengthening of the bridge, and there's no word yet on the next stages will involve.
Motorists can expect traffic delays due to lane closures. According to the advisory, counterflow will be implemented as needed.
