(SPOT.ph) It seems like Metro Manila has its own anthem now: entitled "Traffic is hell," and set to the tune of honking cars and funny-slash-angry Tweets. The situation doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon though; what with major infrastructure projects going on all around the Metro and yup, even minor ones set to throw us off. The Department of Public Works and Highways has declared road repairs and reblocking in Metro Manila starting 11 p.m., Friday, September 27, until 5 a.m. Monday, September 30.
Most of the repairs will be happening in Quezon City, with parts of the Elliptical Road and Katipunan Avenue to be closed off for repair. EDSA Cubao will also be undergoing roadwork. Fingers crossed that we might actually reap some benefits from all the carmegaddon we're going through now.
this strange new world.
