(SPOT.ph) The situation of Metro Manila's train lines have been, well, not good lately—to put it lightly. But here's some good news! The Light Rail Transit Line 1 will be extending their operating hours for the holiday season to help ease the usual extra-special congestion during Christmas. Trains will be leaving the end stations a little later than usual on weekdays starting tomorrow, October 25 until December 31 (BTW, that's the last day of the decade, in case you needed a reminder).
On Mondays to Fridays, the last train from Baclaran station will leave at 10 p.m., while from Roosevelt, the last train will leave at 10:15 p.m. The weekend schedule remains the same.Operating hours will still start at 4:30 a.m. daily for both ends of the train line.Â
The train line will also be open on Christmas Day, December 25 and New Year’s Day, January 1. Just note that on Christmas Eve, December 24, the last trains of both stations will leave at 8 p.m. while on New Year's Eve, December 31, the last trains will leave at 7 p.m, according to a report by Inquirer.net.
this strange new world.
