(SPOT.ph) There's only one thing worse than driving in Metro Manila: parking. You've already spent hours on end driving through congested streets only to spend another half hour just finding somewhere safe to leave itāand then having to pay practically a meal's worth for parking. But south folks might just have one good option! The ParaƱaque Integrated Terminal Exchange has opened a carpark withĀ a flat rate of P60 for cars and P40 for motorcycles. This means that you can drive up to the landport, park your car, and head on out with a lot less to worry about.

Aside from the flat rate, you can also avail of a monthly fee of P1,600. This facility is located on the third level of the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) and contains 513 parking slots for cars and 101 for motorcycles, so the chances of finding at least one slot seem pretty good.

"With the availability of a parking garage at PITX that charges a reasonable parking rate, we hope to encourage those who drive their own vehicles to just leave their car and take the bus or other modes of public transport from PITX to their destination," said PITX Corporate Affairs Head Jason Salvador in a statement. Plus, he pointed out, this could be a way to lessen the cars on the road and the carbon footprint.
this strange new world.
