
(SPOT.ph) Almost a year after the COVID vaccination drive in the Philippines started, both public and private sectors are trying to make the vaccines more accessible to the public. The Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, is holding a mobile vaccination drive for commuters and transport workers at the ParaƱaque Integrated Terminal Exchange from January 24 to 28, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. It is open for walk-ins at Gate 4 located at the second floor of the terminal.
The five-day activity, which is dubbed "We Vax as One: Mobile Vaccination Drive,ā is set to provide AstraZeneca shots, whether as primary vaccination series or as a booster dose.
This is the second vaccination drive at the ParaƱaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, which previously hosted the six-week TsuperHero: Kasangga ng Resbakuna held every Saturday in July 2021. It was able to inoculate around 6,000 public utility vehicle drivers, conductors, and other transport workers.
