Remember that short film we shared last week? It turns out that Dan Villegas, director of rom-com gems English Only, Please and The Breakup Playlist, is the genius behind it!

The award-winning director and cinematographer helmed Grandma's Little Angel, a short that tackles the strong bond between Lola Linda and her granddaughter Kassie, and how a passion for creating divine treats is passed on from one generation to another.

For those who've yet to see it, here's the clip:

To Dan, the film's premise hits close to home. "I was close to my own lolo, so I wanted to make this for him," he points out. "I want viewers to feel lucky that there are people who love them, and that they should tell their loved ones how appreciated and cherised they are."

At the end of the day, success is best shared with the people who inspired you to chase your dreams. Don't forget to share this to your loved ones!
