Apple Watch to be released in April
Apple fanatics, start saving up!
(SPOT.ph) The word’s out, Apple fanatics! The Apple Watch will start shipping in April. With the huge number of iPhone sales and growth in China, Apple CEO Tim Cook says he is hoping for the success to continue with the launch of the tech giant’s latest gadget. "We’re making great progress in the development of it," shares Cook, adding that they are "seeing some incredible innovation."
For those who have little to no idea about what the Apple Watch is (except that it is a watch developed by Apple), it’s basically a smartwatch that the company describes as the "most personal device ever." It’s supposed to make connecting with loved ones more personal because of the tapping function, which you can use to create a pattern of taps that they will instantly feel on their wrist to let them know you’re thinking about them. The Apple Watch also has health and fitness capabilities and messaging functions.
Final pricing details haven’t been announced, but we do know that prices will start at $349. Three styles will be released: the regular model, the Apple Watch Sport, and the Apple Watch Edition (which is expected to compete with luxury watch brands because it will be made from 18-karat gold).
