Denim Goes Green

Yay for earth-friendly fashion brands!

(SPOT.ph) Fashion and Mother Nature don’t always mix perfectly. Some brands, however, are trying to change that.

In 2012, Levi’s started a WaterLess project in which they use 96% less water in the production of their jeans. The result? One billion liters of water saved including 30 million liters of recycled water to date, and over 90 million pairs of jeans produced.

They’re really taking their less is more vision seriously, because they’ve also released jeans that you can wear in three different ways (read: you won’t need more than one pair in your closet!). Being fashionable and earth-friendly is suddenly easier than ever.
