Manila’s fashionable set partied at White Space in Makati and feted the launch and preview of designer Rajo Laurel’s newest collection for ready-to-wear brand Plains & Prints dubbed "The Design Odyssey." Models Bea Soriano, Sarah Meier-Albano, Teresa Herrera and Joey Mead were spotted in the crowd along with Liz Uy, Divine Lee, Amanda Jacob, Amina Aranaz-Alunan, Rosanna Aranaz, Pauline Juan, Tim Yap, Raymond Gutierrez, Laureen Uy, Cristalle Henares and more.
The exclusive collection features soft, feminine pieces inspired by space travel and will be available in all Plains & Prints stores on March 11, 2011.
Inspired by Laurel’s "fascination with space and beyond," the line appeals to on-the-go women with a taste for fluid and refined garments in vibrant hues. The collection offers four dresses, four blouses and four shirts-all machine-washable-and there are only 250 pieces per color per item.
