(SPOT.ph) In what essentially amounts to Philippine football’s version of an All-Star game (and a clear sign that the sport has, indeed, finally gotten the spotlight it deserves), Clear has assembled the best and brightest in Philippine soccer to compete in a "Dream Match"...with a little input from the fans, of course. How does it work? From a pool of 58 players that Clear has drawn from the Azkals, the United Football League, the collegiate level, and, of course, celebrity amateurs, fans can vote for their picks in the Clear Facebook page. The top 40 picks will be drafted into two teams, each headed by one Younghusband sib, to fight in a "Dream Match" on August 25.
Clear trotted out some of the players available for voting during its press launch last week, including the Del Rosario brothers of Kaya FC, Steven Silva and Daniel Matsunaga of Socceroos FC, Ateneo de Manila’s Mikko Mabanag, De La Salle’s Patrick Deyto, Tony Toni and Slick Rick of Boys Night Out, Andrew Wolff of the Philippine Volcanoes, and more.
The Clear Dream Match will benefit the children of Tuloy Foundation.
Which of these stars would be drafted into James and Phil’s dream teams? Click for more.
