(SPOT.ph) The rainy season is here so, for now, say goodbye to your favorite pair of bright-colored flats and Wayfarers. Bid adieu to playful summer frocks and welcome the elegant creations meant for those chilly rainy days.

Urban Liberation is the name of the game in Kenneth Cole's Fall/Winter 2013 Collection, which was recently previewed at their flagship store in Bonifacio Global City High Street Central for Manila's best dressed to see. (Just because we don’t have fall or winter, it doesn’t mean we can’t appropriate the season’s style statements!) The collection was officially launched in February, as Kenneth Cole marked its 30th anniverasry during New York Fashion Week.

Inspired by the brand's home city of New York, Kenneth Cole’ new collection is a juxtaposition of sorts. The style-conscious posse will surely get hooked on the vision of contrasting and controlled shapes. The clothes-which include oversized coats, leather bomber jackets, lean trousers, and baggy pants that taper down to the ankles-highlight a mixture of tastes, volume, and depth. They boast of laser-cut metallic leathers, as well as soft and translucent accessories. The key pieces, in particular, reinforce the notion that the metallic element lies at the heart of a collection that’s geared for discerning urbanites.
