California Pizza Kitchen is dishing out new items from their kitchen starting September 1. The CPK "Small Cravings"--dishes in smaller-sized servings--are designed to introduce more of CPK’s flavors on their menu.
The Tricolore Wrap (P145), has Waldorf chicken, diced tomatoes, chilled arugula, baby red lettuce, almond flakes, and shaved Parmesan cheese wrapped in caramelized Parmesan flour tortilla. Pour a bit of the homemade Dijon balsamic vinaigrette to add a bit of tang.
An alternative to your usual nachos with beef, the White Corn Guacamole and Chips (P150) is a refreshing mix of black beans, fresh avocado, sweet white corn kernels, jicama, green scallions, red bell pepper, and cilantro with blue and white corn tortilla chips on the side. Order a serving of CPK’s grilled salsa (P65/ serving) if you want a spicy kick.
Other new items include Bang Bang Shrimp (P225), mildly spiced medium-sized shrimps with sweet and sour flavors sprinkled with sesame seeds and served on a bed of crispy rice sticks; Thai Chicken Satay (P145 for three sticks of satay) served with tasty and slightly sweet peanut sauce; and the Tuscan White Beans with Shrimp (P265), a small plate of Cannelini beans, shrimp, garlic and chopped parsley with the surprising tangy flavors of fresh lemon juice combined with olive oil and butter.
The Dessert Sampler (P199), is a trio of oven-baked apples with walnut crumble, Belgian chocolate souffle and a serving of banana peanut butter parfait which may be paired with the Cucumber Chill (P215), a tall refreshing glass of blended fresh cucumber, sweet syrup and lemon juice.
"A lot of our patrons already have their favorites which they order every time, and with "Small Cravings", we want them to be able to sample other flavors on our menu in smaller portions," shares Ellen Bernales, Assistant Marketing Manager for California Pizza Kitchen Philippines.
