Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid’s father, lawyer Hermino Alcasid Sr., was appointed chair of the Philippine National Oil Company Development and Management Corp. (PNOC-DMC). GMANews.tv reports that the lawyer took his oath of office before President Noynoy Aquino on December 2.
The PNOC-DMC is "engaged in industrial estate development and management, and manages a 123-hectare property in Rosario, Cavite." The younger Alcasid supported Aquino in the recent elections. He composed and performed the President’s campaign jingle, "Si Noynoy," according to GMANews.tv.
