7-Eleven branches in NY roll out vegan options
Eight branches of convenience store chain 7-Eleven in New York City are now offering vegan food like artichoke spinach noodles, vegetable lo mein, and meat-and-dairy-free dumplings, reports the NY Daily News. The $6 items are still on a test run but if they do well, other 7-Eleven branches in the U.S. may roll out vegan food options too.
"There was demand in the New York and Philadelphia area, not only from our customers but from our employees and franchisees, some of whom are vegetarians," Margaret Chabris, 7-Eleven director of corporate communications, told the NY Daily News.
