Cebu Pacific flight receives bomb threat, return trip from Malaysia to Manila delayed
A Cebu Pacific flight from Manila to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia received a bomb threat earlier this week, reports Inquirer.net. After the plane departed from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, an anonymous caller told the airline’s customer service call center that there was a bomb on the plane. Malaysian officials checked the plane for a bomb after it landed and found none.
"The returning flight (to Manila) was subsequently delayed because of the threat," Cebu Pacific official RG Orense said, according to Inquirer.net.
