Shamcey Supsup is crowned Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2011

(SPOT.ph) Besting 39 other contestants, Shamcey Supsup, 24, won Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2011 yesterday at the Araneta Coliseum, reports PEP.ph. She was also named Best in Talent, Miss PAL and Miss Cream Silk.

According to the report, Supsup topped the Architecture board exam in July 2010 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines. She will represent the country in the Miss Universe competition on September 12 in Brazil.

Bb. Pilipinas 2010 first runner-up Dianne Necio was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-International while Isabella Manjon won Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism, which replaced the Bb. Pilipinas-World title that now has its own franchise.

Meanwhile, part-time tricycle driver Luzelle Felipe, 18, was awarded Best in Long Gown. According to Abante, Felipe studies at the Bulacan Polytechnic College and lives in Hagonoy, Bulacan.
