Ram Revilla’s girlfriend Janelle Manahan tweets for the first time since the tragedy

GMA News Online reports that the slain Ram Revilla’s girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, who is recovering from facial reconstruction surgery, posted a message on her Twitter page for the first time since she was injured in the attack that led to Revilla’s death.

On Sunday, November 13, at 1:34 p.m., she tweeted, "First time to go online since the incident happened. Overwhelmed by all the messages ive been getting on facebook and twitter. Salamat po!"

According to the report, Manahan, who had been shot in the jaw, will have to wear a brace that will keep her from opening her mouth for the next six to eight weeks.


Meanwhile, a GMA News TV Balitanghali segment aired on the same day reported that Manahan had a written message addressed to Revilla’s mother, Genelyn Magsaysay. In it, Manahan said, "I’m looking forward to seeing you again, to sit and talk to you, Tita Leng."
